  1. What is LT-PASS?

    LT-PASS is an e-service introduced by ICA that allows application of Long Term Social Visit Pass without making a trip to ICA.

  2. Who is eligible to apply for Long Term Social Visit Pass online?

    For New LTSVP:
         a) Holders of Employment Pass Eligibility Certificate

    For Renewal of LTSVP:
         a) Child of Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Residents
         b) Parents of Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Residents
         c) Spouse of Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Residents
         d) Child on Student Pass

    You must also satisfy the following conditions:

    For new LTSVP:
         i) your Travel Document has a validity of 6 months or more
         ii) your Employment Pass Eligibility Certificate is not more than 2 years

    For renewal of LTSVP:
         i) your Travel Document has a validity of 6 months or more
         ii) your Long Term Social Visit Pass has a validity of 7 days or more
         iii) your Local Sponsor has a SingPass

  3. When and how do I check on the application status?

    The outcome of your application will be available within 7 working days from the day you submit the application. If you have furnished your email address, we will notify you through email as soon as an outcome is known. If you do not have an email address, you can check the status of your application online via "Status Enquiry".

  4. What if the category of Long Term Social Visit Pass I am applying is not eligible for LT-PASS?

    You are advised to report to Visitor Services Centre (4th Storey), ICA Building, to submit your application before the expiry date of your existing social visit pass.

  5. If the online application is rejected, can I try to submit another online application again?

    You should not submit another online application if your earlier application had been rejected.
     
  6. If there is an error in the information that I have keyed in, will I be able to retrieve the application and re-submit it?

    LT-PASS prompts applicants to confirm their personal particulars before submitting their application. Hence, once "submit" button is clicked on, applicants will not be able to make further changes to the details submitted.
     
  7. What should I do if LT-PASS hangs when I am entering my particulars into the system?

    You can refresh the system and resubmit the application. If you suspect that your application has been submitted, please check the application status online via "Status Enquiry".
     
  8. Who needs to pay for applying Long Term Social Visit Pass online?

    All applications approved under LT-PASS need to go through online payment before completing of formalities. Payment can be made by MasterCard and Visa issued by MasterCard or Visa Electron. Once the Credit transaction is successfully completed, applicant will be notified of his/her application status either by email (if provided) or via “Status Enquiry”.
     
  9. When should I make payment?

    Payment has to be made within the stipulated time indicated on the In-Principle Approval letter or the application will be treated as withdrawn.
     
  10. What are the accepted cards for online payment?

    All Visa credit cards
    All Mastercard credit cards

    The following cards are not accepted:-
    American Express (Amex) cards
    JCB cards
    Any other types of credit/charge cards
     
  11. Is NETS/cash acceptable?

    No NETS/cash payments are allowed for LT-PASS.
     
  12. How do I make payment?

    You may go to "status enquiry" and there will be a link to payment.
     
  13. What should I do if the validity of the In-Principle Approval letter has expired?

    You are advised to report to Visitor Services Centre (4th Storey), ICA Building, before the expiry date of your existing social visit pass.

    Please note that overstaying is an immigration offence in Singapore. If you overstay past the validity of your immigration pass, you may be subjected to a composition fine or prosecution in court.
     
  14. When should I collect my Long Term Social Visit Pass card after payment?

    You are advised to collect your card before the expiry of your social visit pass at Visitor Services Centre (4th Storey), ICA Building.
     
  15. What are the original documents to be produced?

    Applicants who are required to report in person at the Visitor Services Centre (4th Storey), ICA Building, will be informed of the required documents to be produced when they check the status of their application online. The application will be rejected if the applicant is unable to produce any of the original required documents.
